Authorities arrest 4 individuals for violating environmental regulations in Tabuk and Riyadh regions

Special forces for security and protection in the Tabuk region arrested 3 individuals for violating environmental laws by exploiting deposits. The forces seized two machines used for transporting sand and excavating soil, which were operated by two citizens and a Yemeni resident. Legal measures were taken against them.
Additionally, the special forces for environmental security caught a citizen violating environmental laws for grazing 30 camels in prohibited grazing areas at the Imam Abdulaziz bin Muhammad Wildlife Sanctuary. Legal action was taken against the individual.
The forces emphasized that the fine for grazing camels is 500 riyals per camel. They urged the public to report any activities that harm the environment or wildlife by calling “911” in Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern region, and “999” or “996” in other areas of the kingdom.
