162 Violations Detected in Private Training Facilities During the First Quarter of 2025

The Public Authority for Technical and Vocational Training revealed that its monitoring teams detected 162 violations in private training facilities during the first quarter of 2025. These violations were promptly addressed in accordance with established regulations. The authority’s spokesperson, Fahd Al-Otaibi, explained that the observed violations ranged from non-compliance with advertising regulations to manipulation of registration materials, records, documents, or trainees’ results. Other violations included operating without a valid license and employing non-accredited training personnel.

Al-Otaibi emphasized that the authority is committed to supporting and enhancing the sustainability of the private training sector in the Kingdom. They offer various facilitations and incentives to promote sector growth based on quality standards, regulatory compliance, and encourage private sector investment in vocational training through licensing and streamlined procedures.

A total of 110 new training facilities were licensed during the same period, along with the issuance of 133 certified trainer cards to individuals, enabling them to deliver licensed programs. The authority continues to conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of program quality in private institutes and centers, with 20,616 trainees participating in examinations in the first quarter of the current year.
