Autumn Discusses Boosting Investment Partnership in Industry and Mining with Indonesian Ministers

The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Kharif, recently held two bilateral meetings with the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of Indonesia, Arifin Tasrif, and the Minister of Investment, Bahlil Lahadalia, to discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation in the industrial and mining sectors. The meetings were part of the official visit by Minister Al-Kharif to Indonesia.
During the meetings, they discussed developing investment partnerships between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Indonesia, exploring investment opportunities in the industrial and mining sectors in both countries, and emphasizing the importance of promoting innovation and smart solutions to ensure sustainable mining operations. Minister Al-Kharif also reviewed the targets of the National Industry Strategy and the Comprehensive Mining Strategy, as well as the qualitative opportunities available to local and international investors. He highlighted the Kingdom’s offerings to enhance the attractiveness of the investment environment and enable industrial and mining investments.
The meetings were a part of Minister Al-Kharif’s official visit to Indonesia, aimed at enhancing cooperation between the two countries in the industrial and mining sectors and attracting quality investments to achieve the goals of Vision 2030. The ultimate goal is to transform the Kingdom into a leading industrial force and a global hub for mineral production and processing.
