King Salman’s Relief Program Performs 40 Cochlear Implant Operations for Palestinian Children in Jordan

A team of volunteer medical professionals from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan successfully conducted 40 cochlear implant surgeries for 40 Palestinian children from Gaza. Additionally, speech and communication rehabilitation services were provided to the children, along with 16 educational sessions for their families, benefiting a total of 112 individuals. This initiative is part of the “Hearing for Palestine” program, which focuses on cochlear implants and auditory rehabilitation for Palestinian children from Gaza. The program involved 18 volunteers with various medical specializations.
These efforts are in line with the humanitarian and relief work carried out by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, aimed at supporting the Palestinian people in various crises and challenges.
