Arrest Made for Violating Environmental Regulations by Camping in King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve

The Special Forces of the Environmental Security arrested a citizen for violating environmental regulations by camping without a permit in King Abdulaziz Royal Sanctuary. The necessary legal measures were taken against him.
The forces explained that the penalty for camping in forests or national parks without a permit is a fine of up to 3,000 Saudi riyals. They urged reporting any cases that could harm the environment or wildlife by calling 911 in the regions of Mecca, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 999 and 996 in other areas of the Kingdom.
