Organization of Islamic Cooperation Condemns Israeli Closure Orders on 6 UNRWA Schools in Occupied Jerusalem

The Islamic World League has condemned Israel’s closure orders against six schools affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in the occupied city of Jerusalem. This action is seen as a deliberate violation targeting the UN and its humanitarian organizations, as well as decisions related to the rights of the Palestinian people.
In a statement from the League’s Secretariat, Secretary-General Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa reiterated support and solidarity with UNRWA in its humanitarian mission to support the Palestinian people. He called for united efforts from all countries, organizations, and peoples against Israel’s continued brutality in violating all international and humanitarian laws and norms.
He emphasized that every living conscience around the world appeals to stop the Israeli government’s war machine and to activate the international and humanitarian laws regarding this brutal extermination being carried out against Palestinian civilians in plain sight of the international community.
