Foreign Minister participates in ministerial committee meeting on developments in Gaza sector

Today, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, participated in the coordinating meeting of the ministerial committee tasked by the joint extraordinary Arab-Islamic summit regarding the developments in Gaza. This meeting took place in Antalya, Turkey.
The discussions at the meeting focused on the current situation in Palestine, particularly the developments in Gaza. Efforts to achieve an immediate and sustainable ceasefire were emphasized, along with the necessity of delivering more humanitarian aid to the region without any obstacles.
Additionally, the meeting addressed the need to intensify collective efforts to counter all Israeli violations of international law and humanitarian law, as well as grave violations against the Palestinian people. It was emphasized that all attempts at forced displacement, including through creating unsustainable living conditions for the Palestinian people, must be rejected. The meeting further underscored the importance of continuing efforts to empower the Palestinian people with their inherent rights, including the establishment of their independent state based on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
These efforts are in line with the global alliance to implement the two-state solution and the peace conference led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of France, scheduled to take place from June 17 to 20 in New York City.
Among the attendees of the meeting were Fahad bin Asaad Abu al-Nasr, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of Turkey, and Dr. Manal Radwan, an advisor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
