Essential Technology Solutions Call for Reinforcing Judicial Mechanisms in Line with Governance Principles

The fifth forum for the heads of Diwan Al-Mazalim courts concluded today after a two-day event in the Al-Ula governorate under the theme “The Role of Modern Technologies in Developing the Judicial System and the Impact of Legislation on Regulating their Use”.

The forum included several dialogue sessions with the participation of dignitaries, heads of courts, administrative judiciary departments, as well as experts from Diwan Al-Mazalim and related sectors. Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Yousef, the President of Diwan Al-Mazalim and the Administrative Judiciary Council, emphasized the importance of discussing the possibility of improving judicial work in terms of accuracy and efficiency by utilizing all technological and digital capabilities, legislative regulations, and procedures. He highlighted the leading role of Diwan Al-Mazalim judges in keeping pace with modern technologies and proposing relevant advancements in the judiciary.

Following Dr. Al-Yousef’s speech, dialogue sessions were held with the participation of dignitaries, including Sheikh Ali Al-Sa’awi, the President of the Supreme Administrative Court, and a group of experienced specialists. The forum covered various topics, such as the impact of emerging technologies on the governance of judicial processes, the future uses of modern technologies in administrative judiciary tasks, and legal regulations and their influence on regulating the use of such technologies.

The sessions of the forum emphasized the central role of emerging technologies in the current reality, emphasizing the necessity of enhancing judicial mechanisms in line with these technologies and governance principles. The forum concluded with several recommendations to support Diwan Al-Mazalim’s initiatives towards adopting modern technologies and contributing to the ongoing improvement of judicial and administrative efficiency.
