Saudi Stock Market Surges, Closing at 11,502 Points

The Saudi stock market closed higher today with the main index gaining 405.89 points to close at 11502.54 points, with trading valued at 8.3 billion riyals. According to the daily economic bulletin from the Saudi Press Agency for the Saudi stock market, a total of 429 million shares were traded, with 244 companies seeing an increase in their value, while 7 companies saw a decline in their stocks.
Stocks in the paper industry, chemical sector, construction, electric industry, and Cisco Holding saw the highest gains, while National Company for Education, Sadara Capital REIT, Al Jouf, Jadwa REIT Saudi Arabia, and Riyadh REIT saw the biggest declines in trading, with fluctuations ranging between 10.00% and 0.86%.
American, Batic, Saudi Aramco, Shams, and Inmaa were the most active stocks in terms of quantity, while Al Rajhi, Saudi Aramco, Inmaa, Al Ahli, and Masar were the most active stocks in terms of value.
The parallel Saudi stock index “Nomu” also closed higher today, gaining 554.66 points to close at 28924.55 points, with trading valued at 38 million riyals. Over 3 million shares were traded in total on the Nomu market.
