Real Estate Authority Conducts 86 Compliance Inspections in Riyadh, Eastern Province, and Mecca in March 2025 to Enforce Regulations

The General Authority for Real Estate has revealed that its monitoring teams, in collaboration with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, conducted 7 joint monitoring tours in March. These tours included visits to 86 real estate facilities in Riyadh, the Eastern Region, and Mecca. The main goal of these tours is to ensure compliance with real estate legislation in general, especially the real estate brokerage system, as well as matters related to the specialization of the government entities participating in localization efforts.
The Authority emphasized that field work is one of the avenues it is pursuing to regulate the real estate market. During the same period, its monitoring teams carried out 19,636 field monitoring operations. The Authority also received 589 real estate reports through various channels, which were promptly addressed and dealt with. In addition, more than 3204 electronic survey operations were conducted. The Authority employs electronic monitoring to verify the legality of advertisements and digital real estate brokerage practices in accordance with regulations.
The General Authority for Real Estate called on all brokers and real estate service providers to comply with real estate regulations, familiarize themselves with violations, and avoid penalties such as warnings, suspension or cancellation of licenses, or financial penalties. The Authority also urged citizens and residents to report any suspected real estate violations or fraud through the official platform or by calling the toll-free number “199011” for real estate inquiries.
