The Islamic University in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah is organizing the 13th edition of the “Cultures and Peoples Festival” from April 13 to 19, with over 100 cultural and artisanal booths. The event will feature more than 150 cultural and educational activities at the university campus. Spanning 28,000 square meters, the festival includes cultural competitions, interactive workshops, and a unique cultural phenomenon organized annually by the university. Students from various nationalities will showcase their cultures, heritage, costumes, and traditions.
Accompanying the festival is a seminar titled “Awareness of Thought” aimed at promoting intellectual awareness and instilling values of moderation, tolerance, and rejecting extremism in all its forms. Several speakers specializing in the seminar’s topic will participate. The “Cultures and Peoples Festival” offers an opportunity to learn about different countries and cultures under one roof, striving to enhance dialogue, promote coexistence and mutual understanding, spread peace and love among different peoples and cultures, and develop principles of teamwork among participants in showcasing their cultures.
