Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Director General of Drug Control Leads Kingdom’s Delegation at Drug Committee Meeting in Austria

Brigadier Hamad bin Mohammed Al-Ammari, Deputy Director General of Drug Control, headed the Kingdom’s delegation participating in the 68th session of the Drugs Committee held at the United Nations headquarters in Austria. During the meeting, Brigadier Al-Ammari highlighted Saudi Arabia’s efforts in combating drugs internationally, emphasizing the role of security and regulatory authorities in addressing this issue. He stressed the importance of implementing preventive and awareness programs to protect society members, provide treatment and rehabilitation services, and enhance international cooperation through the application of relevant agreements and treaties.
