أمير نجران يقوم بجولة تفقدية في مدينة الحجاج بمنفذ الوديعة بشرورة

Prince Jlowi bin Abdulaziz Oversees Services at the Hajj City in Sharurah

Today, Prince Jlowi bin Abdulaziz, the Emir of Najran Region, visited the Hajj City located in Sharurah to assess the various services provided to pilgrims arriving from the friendly Republic of Yemen. His visit aimed to ensure that the needs of the pilgrims are being met effectively during their journey to perform the sacred rites of Hajj.

During his inspection, the Prince reviewed the extensive range of services organized by the local Ministry of Islamic Affairs, the Commission for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. A notable initiative discussed was “Anwart,” which is designed to deliver comprehensive support to the pilgrims. This program seeks to enhance the overall experience of the Hajj patrons by offering a series of tailored services and initiatives.

Situated at the Al-Wadiah border crossing, the Hajj City spans an impressive area of 10,000 square meters and has so far welcomed more than 2,000 pilgrims out of a total of 18,000 expected for this season. The city boasts a well-organized and high-quality service system aimed at facilitating the smooth passage of the pilgrims. A collaborative effort from various governmental and non-governmental organizations ensures that all necessary services are available, including medical care, preventive health measures, and informative guidance to support the well-being and safety of the pilgrims.

In addition to hospitality services provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, other contributions from the Najran Municipality and the Najran Health Cluster further enhance the pilgrims’ experience. Ambulance services provided by the Saudi Red Crescent and additional support from the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Dawah serve to ensure that all health and safety requirements are met. Security personnel are also present to maintain peace of mind and offer reassurance to the pilgrims as they complete their spiritual obligations and prepare for their return to their home countries.

To ensure the convenience of all guests, especially the elderly and persons with disabilities, various volunteer organizations have stepped up to provide assistance. These volunteers manage mobile carts and help organize operations within the Hajj City, ensuring that everyone can navigate the city comfortably and efficiently.

This initiative by the Emir and the various government bodies reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to providing a seamless and enriching experience for Hajj pilgrims. As the kingdom continues to serve as a host for millions of worshippers from around the globe, efforts are intensified to guarantee that each visitor feels welcomed and supported throughout their spiritual journey.

The visit by Prince Jlowi underscores the importance of community collaboration and the government’s dedication to creating a favorable environment for those undertaking this significant pilgrimage. Through strategic planning, comprehensive services, and a compassionate approach, Saudi Arabia aims to uphold the sacred traditions of Hajj while ensuring the utmost comfort and safety for all pilgrims.

In summary, the ongoing enhancements in service delivery and the collaborative effort of various sectors demonstrate a holistic approach to welcoming visitors. This is not just a logistical endeavor but a reflection of the Kingdom’s values and respect for those who travel to fulfill their spiritual duties. The shared goal is to ensure that every pilgrim leaves with fulfilling memories and a deep sense of spiritual connection, contributing positively to their faith and experiences in the holy sites.
