Ministry of Hajj issues warning against unauthorized pilgrimage attempts

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has emphasized the necessity for those wishing to perform the Hajj pilgrimage this year to obtain a Hajj permit through the fully integrated technical platform of the “Naseek” platform along with the unified digital platform for issuing Hajj permits known as the “Tasreeh platform.” It is important to abide by the regulations and instructions to ensure the safety of pilgrims and facilitate their pilgrimage with ease and tranquility. The Ministry underlined that all types of visas do not authorize the holder to perform the Hajj pilgrimage except for those with Hajj visas, and attempting to perform the Hajj without a permit is a violation of the regulations and instructions of the Hajj.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah also warned against fraud, scams, and misleading advertisements promoting fake Hajj campaigns on social media platforms that offer accommodation and transportation for pilgrims within the holy sites. They urged individuals to report any violations by contacting the numbers “911” in the regions of Mecca, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and “999” in other regions of the Kingdom or filing a report with authorities in all countries about any fake and misleading advertisements.
Additionally, the Ministry highlighted that the deadline for Umrah pilgrims with Umrah visas to depart is the first Tuesday of the month of Dhu al-Qi’dah in the year 1446 H, corresponding to April 29, 2025, in preparation for the Hajj season.
