Boosting Maritime Connectivity: “Al Pakistan Gulf” Shipping Service Added to King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam for Enhanced Global Trade Links

In order to enhance maritime connectivity between the Kingdom and the world, and support national exports and imports, the Saudi Ports Authority “Maawani” has added the new shipping service “AL PAKISTAN GULF” by “AP LINE” to the King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam. This move is part of Maawani’s efforts to strengthen the Kingdom’s position in the global maritime navigation network index, improve operational efficiency at ports, and enhance the effectiveness of linking the Kingdom to global markets to support national export and import activity. This aligns with the goals of the national strategy for transportation and logistic services aiming to solidify the Kingdom’s status, make it a global logistic center, and a hub for connecting the three continents.
The new shipping service works to link the King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam with Karachi Port in Pakistan and Jebel Ali Port in the UAE, with a capacity of 2,903 standard containers. It is worth mentioning that Maawani’s partnerships with leading global shipping lines contribute to the development of the Kingdom’s ports, support its competitiveness, expand its infrastructure, enhance maritime transport routes, and improve operational and logistic services procedures.
