Wishing You a Blessed Eid al-Fitr: Grateful for the Strength to Observe Ramadan and Reach this Joyous Day

On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr for the year 1446 AH, His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud delivered a speech. The text of the speech, presented by the Minister of Media, Mr. Salman bin Yusuf Al-Dosari, started with praise for Allah and blessings on Prophet Muhammad and his family.
King Salman extended his greetings to the citizens and residents of Saudi Arabia, as well as Muslims worldwide. He expressed gratitude to Allah for helping them fast during Ramadan and reach the joyous day of Eid. The King prayed for acceptance of prayers and good deeds from everyone.
The King highlighted the numerous blessings bestowed upon the country, especially the service provided at the holy sites of Makkah and Madinah for pilgrims and visitors. He commended the efforts of those who facilitated Umrah and visitation rituals during Ramadan, recognizing the hard work of dedicated individuals across various sectors.
Eid is a day of joy, unity, compassion, and brotherhood among Muslims. The King emphasized the importance of gratitude towards Allah for His blessings and guidance. He called for celebration, remembrance, and thanksgiving as mentioned in the Quran.
King Salman prayed for the well-being, peace, and prosperity of the country, the Islamic nation, and the world as a whole. He hoped for stability and prosperity to prevail everywhere. The speech concluded with prayers for peace and blessings upon everyone.
