Foreign Minister Participates in Third Strategic Dialogue Meeting between GCC Countries and Central Asia

Today, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, participated in the third meeting of the strategic dialogue between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and Central Asian countries, hosted by the sisterly State of Kuwait. The meeting discussed ways to enhance the special relations between the Gulf countries and Central Asian countries, as well as the joint action plan aimed at developing cooperation in political, economic, cultural, and tourism fields.

The meeting also discussed the ongoing preparations for the upcoming summit between the GCC countries and Central Asian countries, hosted by the city of Samarkand in Uzbekistan next month. This summit follows the first one held in Saudi Arabia in 2023 and also addressed the international developments and the efforts made in this regard.

In attendance were Prince Sultan bin Saad bin Khalid, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Kuwait, Ambassador Haitham Maliki, and the Director General of the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Walid Al-Samail.
