US Energy Secretary Visits Saudi Aramco in Dhahran and Shaybah Field During Official Visit to the Kingdom

During his official visit to the Kingdom, US Energy Secretary Chris Wright, along with his delegation, visited the headquarters of Saudi Aramco in Dhahran, accompanied by His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Energy. Upon their arrival at the company’s headquarters in Dhahran, they were greeted by the company’s CEO, Eng. Amin Hassan Al-Nasser, and several senior officials.
The American minister was briefed on Aramco’s efforts in innovation and technology through visits to the EXPEC Center, the Fourth Industrial Revolution Center, and the Accelerated Innovation Lab. He also listened to presentations on the company’s role in enhancing global energy security and efficiency.
Later on, the Minister of Energy accompanied the American minister on a field visit to the Shaybah field in the Empty Quarter, where he received a presentation on the production and administrative facilities. The visit concluded with a tour of the Shaybah Visitors Center, as part of Aramco’s environmental initiatives.
