Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman appointed as Chairman of Kaust University Board of Trustees by Royal Decree and on the recommendation of Crown Prince

King Salman bin Abdulaziz has issued an order appointing Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). This appointment follows a recommendation by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, highlighting KAUST’s strategic role in research, development, and innovation, particularly in vital areas for the Kingdom’s future such as energy, sustainability, and technological advancements.
Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, with extensive experience in the energy and sustainability sector, is envisioned to enhance KAUST’s position as a global hub for scientific excellence and transformative innovation.
