تفويت “الزكاة والضريبة والجمارك” لمحاولة تهريب 46.8 كيلوغرام من الكوكايين في شحنة “دجاج مجمّد” عبر ميناء جدة الإسلامي

The Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority at the Islamic port of Jeddah successfully foiled an attempt to smuggle 46.8 kilograms of cocaine into the Kingdom. The drugs were discovered hidden in a shipment coming through the port.

The Authority explained that the shipment, labeled as “frozen chicken,” underwent customs procedures and security checks, during which the cocaine was found concealed in the shipment’s refrigeration unit.

The Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority emphasized its commitment to enforcing customs control on the Kingdom’s imports and exports, standing vigilant against smuggling attempts. This is in line with its strategy to enhance community security and protect society by curbing smuggling efforts.

The Authority urged everyone to contribute to the fight against smuggling to protect the community and the national economy. They can do so by contacting the Authority through the designated security hotline (1910), email (1910@zacta.gov.sa), or the international number (009661910). The Authority receives reports related to smuggling crimes and violations of customs regulations through these channels, ensuring complete confidentiality and offering a monetary reward for accurate information provided in the reports.
