Registration Opens for 55 Districts in Al-Madinah and Al-Qatif, Including 18 Real Estate Parcels in Hafr Al-Batin

The Real Estate Registry has announced the start of receiving applications for the first physical registration of 73,994 real estate properties in 15 neighborhoods in Al-Madinah, 40 neighborhoods in Al-Qatif, and 18 real estate properties in Hareemla Province. In Al-Madinah, the registration includes 43,697 real estate properties in various neighborhoods. In Al-Qatif, the registration covers 30,297 properties in multiple neighborhoods, while in Hareemla Province, 18 properties are up for registration.
Property owners in the designated neighborhoods are encouraged to register their properties before May 29, 2025, to benefit from the services provided by the Real Estate Registry. Owners can check if their property falls within the announced areas through the registry’s platform. They are also urged to register their properties through the Real Estate Registry website or app and contact the customer service center for guidance on the registration process.
It is important for property owners to complete the registration within the specified timeframe to facilitate property transactions smoothly and avoid penalties as stipulated in the real estate registration regulations. The Real Estate Registry continues its efforts to enhance reliability and transparency in the sector by building a comprehensive real estate database that will serve as a unified reference for all property information in the Kingdom.
Each registered real estate unit will be issued a unique property number and a property ownership certificate. This certificate will contain precise geographical coordinates of the property, owner details, property characteristics, status, rights, obligations, and any property transactions that occur. It will serve as a foundation for documenting ownership and property rights, thereby contributing to the sustainability and development of the real estate sector and its key components.
The determination of the designated real estate areas is based on various criteria established by the General Real Estate Authority, which is responsible for physical property registration in accordance with Cabinet decisions and the provisions of the real estate registration regulations. The National Company for Real Estate Registration Services, “The Real Estate Registry,” is tasked with creating and managing the real estate registry in the Kingdom using advanced geo-spatial data and modern technologies. Through an integrated digital platform, the company aims to enhance transparency and trust in real estate services and data.
